After a week of cold and snowy weather, average temps are going to be returning to North Georgia and the rest of the southeast United States. Warm Southern Weather

The southeast us is having an unseasonably warm spell after a major cool down last week. After record breaking cold temperatures last week, temperatures have rebounded to spring like conditions throughout the southeast, thanks to the southeast ridge. Southern Cool Down

The southeastern United States have had a real cool down after a strong early fall cold front moved through. Temps are now in the upper 70's for highs and mid 50's for lows which is very fall like. This cool down will last for about 2 more days until a more southerly flow takes shape again. Temps will rise into the lower 80's and the low's into the mid 60's.

Tropics Are Quiet

Despite 99L being persistent in the Carb sea, and there being other waves from time to time the tropics have been fairly quiet. This has been due to an abudance of shear, but this is all expected to change as the pattern reverses making thins more favorable for development.
