Thanks so much everyone. She is now on total life support and not responding. Please pray for my brother in law, my two nephews and my Mom.

With regards to life support ...my family had a similar situation with my paternal grandfather in Sept. 2008.

He had a blocked bowel situation and complications with a pre-existing hiatal hernia. Had intestinal surgery but then had to be heavily sedated along with other meds going into him. His liver and kidneys failed which subsequently took him.

My BIL is having all tests rerun before any final decisions. This is a time when I wish I had a machine that could beam me up to New Jersey to be with them.

Thanks again everyone. Right now they are re-doing all testing. They will meet with all the doctors tomorrow morning and make a final decision. They have already talked to my brother-in-law regarding organ transplant.
