| | Just for fun, animals in plants | | The other night, when I couldn't sleep, I was listening to the crickets chirping. I wondered, how many plants have names with animal names in them. I thought of DOGwood, PUSSYwillow, dandiLION, CATnip, and LAMB's ears. What can you think of????  |

Let's see, MOUSEear (herb), CANARY vine, SPIDER plant, TIGER Lilies, ROBINia (Locust), BUTTERFLY bush, DRAGONwing Begonias, BULL Rush, TOAD Lily, ,ZEBRA grass, OSTRICH fern, Solomon's SEAL,(herb) BIRDhouse gourds, and I can't forget one of my personal favorites - PENGUIN gourds !

How about Hogweed? Cat's Claw? SNAKEroot? Horsemint? Cobra Lily? Pussy Toes? Cardinal Climber? Rabbit's Foot Fern?
