The other night, when I couldn't sleep, I was listening to the crickets chirping. I wondered, how many plants have names with animal names in them. I thought of DOGwood, PUSSYwillow, dandiLION, CATnip, and LAMB's ears. What can you think of????

You got quite a few there. Let's see, MOUSEear (herb), CANARY vine, SPIDER plant, TIGER Lilies, ROBINia (Locust), BUTTERFLY bush, DRAGONwing Begonias, BULL Rush, TOAD Lily, ,ZEBRA grass, OSTRICH fern, Solomon's SEAL,(herb) BIRDhouse gourds, and I can't forget one of my personal favorites - PENGUIN gourds !

wow. Everybody already named most of the ones I can think of. But maybe nobody said "Coltsfoot" yet. Oh, no...tammy got the coltsfoot already. I can't keep track of what's been named. LOL. How about Hogweed? Cat's Claw? SNAKEroot? Horsemint? Cobra Lily? Pussy Toes? Cardinal Climber? Rabbit's Foot Fern?
