Good news from Susan

Susan called today and her power was restored on Tuesday, great news. And even better than that, she sounded like our Susan, once again. She's strong and determined, and putting one foot in front of the other. A day at a time.
The 'wet room' has been gutted. Ceiling torn down, walls removed, carpet gone. The insurance adjuster comes next. Susan has called and left messages, but no response, yet. And yes, she IS documenting everything.
She hasn't tried to set up her computer, but will soon, and hopefully, we'll hear directly from her.
Bless her heart, she talked mostly about the areas around her that were destroyed, homes totally gone.

Thanks Janet. She'll be on a mission now. That girl has so much "spunk". She overcomes every adversity and comes out stronger every time. We love you Susan and I will keep you in my nightly prayers. ((HUGS))

Wouldn't it be nice if we had lots of money and didn't have to work and could just go around helping our friends.......

Thanks for the update, Janet. Susan has been on my mind & in my prayers. I'm glad her spirit has improved & she is making progress on restoring her house. May the repairs go as quickly as possible & the insurance kicks in soon.
