Default GO Team!!

Big game today ... and farewell to the 2009-2010 season.
Both teams are superior ...so here comes the big showdown.
Here, cheering for the Colts (but hope the Saints do well too )...(but not too well).
Who are YOU cheering for? (or are you just there for the commercials?)

GO SAINTS!!!

I'd like to see the Saints win their first SuperBowl.

Tommy picked the Saints early in the season for my family's football pool (Pfeifer Pfamily Pfootball ). He was the winner of $250 (our biggest pot yet) as his team went farther in the season than any of the others. Woo Hoo!

Dad's coming over for the game & we are dining on a dinner from the Northwest. We're having pacific salmon that my sister had shipped to us fresh on our anniversary. (Imagine my surprise when I was delivered a huge pacific salmon at my door! We've had several meals from this one fish.) Appetizers include aged white cheddar cheese made at Washington State University. We've made yummy fresh fruit salad & a few other goodies to round out this feast! What are you eating on game day???

Haha! That's me, only interested in seeing the new commercials.
We saw Sandra Bullock in "The Blind Side" last night, which I really enjoyed, but generally I have no interest in football.

My folks and I are going for the Colts!

We love Peyton Manning and crew!

Probably will have some chips and dip for a game snack.

Anyone ever watch some of the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet later on Super Bowl afternoon?

Who couldn't cheer for a team who played so well and carried the hopes of so many people of the N.O. area on their sturdy shoulders. I was charmed by the view of Drew Brees and his baby son watching the confetti fall ... there was a totally thrilled player at the peak of his career (so far). I imagine everyone, like me, was grinning like a happy clown at the TV by that time.

They were adorable together!
I'm so happy they won their first SB! The Saints have been in NO a long time unlike the Colts in Indy. Gotta love an underdog. The city of NO needed this boost & deserved it -- good game!

Saw some footage on the news of the Saints' victory parade and their floats and the players tossing celebration beads to the fan throngs!
