Getting back to work after vacation

Boy is this ever difficult! I have NEVER ever had a week off where I could just sit back and relax without having to do something! Since last week which was my first ever true vacation I just haven't been able to get my behind off the couch. Here it is 1:00 pm and all I have done today is let the ducks out, wash one load of laundry, make banana bread, make tea and breakfast, and clean out the shed. I really do need to get busy. Now I finally know what it means about needed a week to recover from vacation.

It's not fair, but one always pays for vacation before & after. No matter how much work you do ahead of time, there's always more waiting for you when you return. Ahhhhh, but you have good vacation memories to hold onto for a lifetime!

OMG, that's all you've done!!!!!!!!!! I got tired just reading that and had to take a nap!!!!

I'm sure you'll get back into the swing of things before you know it. Glad you had a good rest.

You don't want to know what all I have done today then.

Just a small bit of it included working on David's house and picking up and hulling out black walnuts. I am sitting here because I need a few minute break.
