Well the time is getting near!!!! Would all of you let me know when you will be arriving?

I thought that the guys would like to take a tour of PNC Park on Friday. They don't have tours on Saturday or Sunday only on special dates and ours is not one of them.

I also have to make reservations for the Ducky tour of the three rivers. I think all of you will just love this. It only takes about 1 to 1 1/2 hours and it's really great. Check it out. Price is $19 but well worth it. If you don't want to go on the Ducky tour you could go thru Station Square during the time that we're on the tour.

On Sunday evening check out this site and scroll down to the Hartwood Acres area. This is about 5 miles from my home and we can take drinks, snacks and a blanket to hear the concert which is free.

I KNOW I submitted a post that was listed on this thread earlier today!

I had said I won't be leaving here until early early early (hopefully about 5 am) Saturday morning because we have 2 vehicles that run and 2 working stiffs that need them for work until late Friday night/early Saturday morning.

How soon do you have to make the reservations for the Ducky Tour? Tim won't know if he can come until Thursday that week. Rebekah may or may not come with me. Lord willing I will be headed east on Saturday but with everything that usually happens around here (or just to me, I'm not really sure) I kind of hate to make definite plans real early. Seems like every time I make plans the crap hits the fan.

The Aviary is something I really want to see. I want to tour it all and do it all. I wish I could call in missing on Friday and Monday but I don't think I could get away with that.

It's a shame you can't come in late on Friday night. Melanie is coming in at 10:40 p.m.

I made reservations for the Duckie Tour for Saturday at 11:30 a.m. I made reservations for 17 of us and left my credit card number which won't be billed unless I don't cancel 48 hours prior to the date. Right down the street from the tours is the Incline which costs a few dollar and takes about 1/2 hour. It takes you to Mt Washington where to view is outstanding.

I had hoped David could take a vacation day but not while they are being trained for the new system. He would lose his job if he took a day off. Tim can't use any of his days until the end of August or he could lose his job. Don't you just love those probationary periods?

If you are late leaving Columbus on Saturday, here are the directions directly to Station Square where the Ducky Tours are. They have a large parking garage and the tours ticket booth is between Station Square and the Grand Concourse (which is a restaurant on the banks of the Monongahela River.

I am here with a tear in my eye. I do not think I will be able to come. It is a combination of things that are getting in the way of it.

I hate to say it out loud and keep thinking about it, but fact is, its reaching the point where I HAVE to say that no one should plan on me being there. Karan, if you reserved a spot for me on the Ducky Tour, cancel it, please. And nobody should count me for a goody bag.

If something happens so that I do decide to come, I won't be worried about missing the Ducky Tour or a goody bag. I'll just be glad to see everybody. But I don't want anyone going to any expense when I probably won't be there at all, or reserving anything.

I am depressed about this. I wanted to see everybody again, and its been YEARS since I saw BloominYard and Petal*Pusher. And Rhonda, I have so wanted to meet you face to face all these years. But, its just not likely to be this year. "Nothing's impossible"....but it is pretty improbable all the same.
