This low will send a powerful cold front sweeping across the waters Friday morning. Storm force winds will develop late tonight ahead of the front and continue behind the front into Friday afternoon. Very steep and large S to SW wind waves will develop from the storm force winds. These wind waves will transition to large SW to W swell Friday night through Saturday evening.

It has just come t' me attention, havin' just been inform'd by th' USCG, Newport, OR; that th' Buoy 46050, 44.62N x124.53W (that ay've been takin' me readin's from), has been offline... "for about a month" now.

(no wond'r th' readin's have been "amazin'ly similar", fer th' past 4-5 days... d'oh!)

ay have been instruc't t' use readin's from another buoy (altho' as abbriviat'd as th' readin's may be), until 46050 can (hopefully) get back online this Spring.
