Do you guys in the midwest have a secondary severe season? As we do in the southeast, and if so,do you guys have any chasing plans?

We may have an event or two happen but nothing I would call a season.

I think you can call it a season, as there is often potential for severe weather over the plains states in the fall; problem is they are mainly cold front events or they don't pan out thanks to lack of instability...

But, I'd say the spring season is definitely tops for the plains; but there is a secondary severe season in the fall months when the mid level temps aren't so stifling to the thunderstorms.

Yea instability can hurt matters as it does in the spring in the south. Usually it can be rain and cool which destroys severe events.
