Default Do you sleep in your car?

Have you guys ever had to sleep in your car overnight while chasing, or do you usually make it back home?

Yeah once, in 2004 after seeing a beautiful tornado in southeastern Saskatchewan, I tried to drive home (even after a huge coffee from Tim Hortons) and found myself drowsy after about an hour into the 5-hour drive.* I pulled into a small town, parked in front of a house, and slept in my car.

I woke up about 5 hours later with blue ink all over my face--it turns out the bag of clothes I had used as a pillow had some blue writing on the outside.* It Transferred to my face.

Hotels are nice, otherwise it is always good to know plenty of people that live in different parts of the plains!!* One of last years chases that I was on with Dustin Wilcox we didn't get back to his place til' 11 PM or so...* Instead of trying to make it back to my house which would have been about 3 am arrival, I instead went to my uncles in northeast NE, getting to sleep by 1:30 am instead!!

Also, some original questions could be nice.* I swear I answer these questions a week before on other forums and then they show up here!* :coolsmiley:

Only on long trips when I'm alone.* I'll stay in the left lane though so the barrier in the middle wakes me up if I start to drift :-)
