Do you chase at night?

My question to you guys is do you chase any at night? For me I would like to chase at night sometime, although I would think it would be a lot more dangerous.

I know I dont like to but plenty of people do.* If you do I would sure hope you have a cell connection or Threatnet because it might get a little difficult otherwise.

Tell me about it!!!* I had no cell phone capabilities Internet or calling, last Wednesday while I was chasing a monster wedge tornado at night, watch the video at the bottom of the page about the day on my site and you can hear me asking if I had any "bars" on my phone yet.* I knew what I was doing and had a visual of the tornado the whole time so I was in ok position, however coming across baseball sized hail made me a little Leary considering I had no choice but to sample a portion of at least one core.* But to answer your question yes I chase at night, and enjoy the added challenges it brings.* As at night one has to worry about so much, downed power lines, debris in the road, flooded roads, injured people, scared and confused people walking down the road are just a few things one has to consider.* *

The only way I would is if I had a cell phone at my disposle, a laptop and good knowledge of the road network and even then I don't if I would. It's definitely not advisable.

I was going to go chasing the other day, but given the time of initiation, it would had been night by the time we got back, plus the storms did not really fire in the area I was thinking of.

I want to do that sometime this year but for the purpose of getting lightning pics.* I want to get away from the city where its really dark and see what I can come up with.
