Default Chase Season

So how is everyone preparing for chase season? Do you guys have any plans ahead of time for the upcoming season? For me, well I will chase a storm if it is within 15 miles of me. Next year I hope to go father.

I think I'll cast my net a bit wider next season.* I limited myself to going as far as South Dakota by myself.* I think Kansas will be about my limit this time.

As well, preparations are already underway for the U of M storm chasing course.* We'll go ANYWHERE the storms are, within the dates provided.

i think the farthest i went last year was maybe 5-10 miles by myself, otherwise i got to Aberdeen with Rich G. probably 15-20 miles by myself next year, and who knows how far with Rich. Maybe northeast Nebraska? have to wait and see. gonna go to a couple more Skywarn classes in the spring and am just reading up on some books for right now.

Well right now Im just hoping to have the money to get another car ready for the chase season.* Of course my main priority is saving for a wedding right now so we'll see how that goes but thats about all.* Oh yeah, I will be buying a new camera this season as well.* Not sure what I'm getting yet.

Yes, it is always good to have a good camera. Do you suggest a reg camera or a camcorder?
