I read this yesterday over at WeatherUnderground by Jeff Masters ...

Sea surface temperatures in the Equatorial Eastern Pacific have been rising steadily for several months, and there is now a very real possibility that an El Niņo event could occur during the peak of the Atlantic hurricane season, August - October. This is important, since the number and intensity of Atlantic tropical storms and hurricanes is usually reduced during an El Niņo year, thanks to the increased wind shear such events bring to the tropical Atlantic.

Very interesting and some good news in that regard!

4 city tour...lol

3 days in tampa st bleep..
2 days in orlando
3 days in miami
3 days in key west

have relatives in all cities except key west...so we will save some $ on room and board

no visits to the tourist traps ie disney, sea world,etc...although we will prolly do a little cruise..(fishing mainly)

really excited about this trip...god willing well be able to make it..
as always if theres a hurricane in the vicinity trips off or cut short...but i think we can handle a tropical storm though...

Sounds like a very nice itinerary, bro!

I have 2 cousins (they're both sisters) and they and their families live in Sarasota.

In all, I've been to Pensacola, Sarasota, and Longboat Key.
