Default March Atlantic Hurricane!


Well, i exaggerate, but wow this looks good. There's no fronts anywhere near it. Chances of subtropical/tropical?

True, maybe it's getting the energy from that jet thats to the south of it. But there's convection forming around the center forming an eye.

It does not look at all impressive.......more like extratropical in nature. I doubt something will come of this in terms of any apperciable tropical development.

It's fully extratropical, winter tends to think every swirl is a tropical system. lol

Retrieve Plymouth State Archived Satellite Image or Loop
Look at that about 1/3 of the way through (0015Z 7 MAR). Guess waters were too cold. Doesn't hurt to be hopeful.

It definitely looks subtropical to me at that time. Can someone please explain why it isn't?
