A few storms have formed here in the past but it's still pretty rare.

No sympathy-a good Tropical Met should be able to recognize depicted landmasses without needing the coordinates or to be told the location. Knowledge of Geography is essential in Meteorology.

That would be in an ideal sense. In this case, it would be hard for any Met to instantly recognize where this is located unless they look at it from a broader perspective. In any case, I am not too optimistic about this developing.

Yeah, don't let them get to you and leave them be, FS! Anyways, I did another look at the system, and I stand by my thought that I am not very impressed with the way it looks as of late, so I am not concerned about tropical development, save for some squally weather associated with this area of disturbance.
