I care! I've already been through a Bertha hurricane in '96 so it needs to stay away from my house.

Yeah...what Frozen Signal said. I read all the weather posts even if I don't know enough to comment on them. Don't get discouraged. We just need some more people interested in forecasting and analysis again.

It was messy! Every square foot of our acre+ yard had debris on it. Took a month to clean up. And since we had no way to way to drag it to the paved road for pick-up, we started what we still call the "Bertha Pile" in a back corner. I might add to that pile this weekend -- got lots of big sticks to get out of the way for the next mowing, and some weeds need to be tackled before they grow into trees.. but I digress...

bobbie...you still have a bertha pile??? ill call a few friends and get em to haul it off for you.... heres a pic to recognize them by...theyll be over today




if i lived closer id come over and help dismantle the bertha pile...
