some storms will form...itll get windy ...some rain will fall...home will flood....piliticians and activists will blame GW if its a higher than normal season....and the nay sayers will say the opposite if theres below normal activity....

atlantic...12-14 storms

4-5 canes....
2 will be majors...

the east coast WILL take a direct ht from a hurricane....not major...but a hit nevertheless...
there...i kept on topic and it wasnt a pointless post as normal..:P

E PAC season will see aboot 15-17 storms....

one will hit HI
7-9 will be canes..

3-5 will be major canes


BTW wheres the atlantic ocean at.....oh wait...theres co-ordinates....NM lol

I think that this year will be a rather busy atlantic season. Im really mainly waiting to see what that la nina does. It will probly weaken and allow more storm delvelopment.

Next year will be neutral or slight el-nino, not la nina.

Right now, we are looking at La Nina as a multi-year event........the latest reports show that La Nina is getting STRONGER, but the impact on the 2008 Atlantic hurricane season will not be known better until May.

0-100 named storms 0-100 major

With my above prediction of longterm forecasting, I could work for the NHC in a heartbeat LOL
