The first chase of the 2006 year. I had high-hopes for the year and it kicked off with a real exiting start. A severe highly-sheared multicell produces some large hail and a very fun fast paced chase. No radars, no ham radios, and no weather radio.
You can see the white dust as the hailstone hits the ground...You know its big when theres an ice plume...
It was a dianural storm so soon after sunset, it died out
